For those who have read George Lakoff's (http://www.georgelakoff.com/) Don't Think of an Elephant, we've read about the careful coalition building that the right has orchestrated over a period of 30 years to move into power. Progressives had better pull it together in short order. Our country can't afford to have the wing nuts in power for too much longer. I can’t wait for some coalescence on the left.
