This Lelo in NoPo blog entry tells a sad tale –OPB is bringing Ira Glass of “This American Life” to Portland for a fundraiser, but can’t be bothered to look hard enough to find a venue that isn’t in a homophobic right-wing church (whose membership, on the whole, likely thinks OPB is part of the anti-Christian liberal media conspiracy).

If you’re an OPB member, I hope you will contact them, explain why you won’t be attending this OPB fundraiser, and why you’ll be supporting KBOO (a station that needs your support far more than OPB does) in the future.  Tell them you’re going to stay home and watch “Jesus Camp” on DVD that night.
