Spread the word! No fiscal impact from E-waste bill

From the Oregon Conservation Network’s excellent weekly e-letter “Salem Watch”:
Expanding Oregon’s Electronic Recycling Program
The report from the Legislative Revenue Office came back on HB 2626 [E-waste recycling program] and as expected there is no revenue impact for Oregon’s taxpayers for the creation of a statewide electronic recycling program. This will hopefully pave the way for hearings late next week or the following week in the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Natural Resources.
This is great news, and takes away a key excuse for inaction!
So, please call or write your legislators and note the results of the fiscal analysis when you ask them to support HB2626 to create a statewide E-waste recycling program.
